Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center, affiliated with Universal Health Services, seeks a Chief Executive Officer to lead clinical and non-clinical operations, aligning with the mission and vision while driving strategic growth in neurorehabilitation services.

The CEO will oversee Nursing, Admissions, Finance, Regulatory, and Business Development; ensure quality metrics, recruit staff, manage budgets, and build relationships with local partners. Travel ~10% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
• Experience as a behavioral executive (CEO) at a behavioral health facility or large acute care facility.
• Working knowledge of behavioral health management.
• Advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Working knowledge of operations, financial management and marketing methods.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for creating an environment and culture that fulfills the organization’s mission, vision and values.
• Operational management of clinical and non-clinical departments including Nursing, Admissions, Business Development, Process Improvement, Finance, Clinical Services, Regulatory Affairs that effectively drive patient care outcomes.
• Ensure hospital quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory guidelines.
• Recruit physicians and staff in targeted specialty areas, coordinate medical staff participation in new hospital ventures and targets, develop new areas of medical care to offer at the hospital.
• Supervise the development of more comprehensive outpatient care and ambulatory programs; build relationships with local industry, government, providers and the public.
• Ensure timely submission of month-end financial and operational reviews; participate in corporate-wide strategic planning.
• Communicate circumstances and events of operations to supervisor and relevant parties.
• Achieve budgeted financial objectives and manage contract negotiations and payor relations.
• Increase revenues and control costs across staffing, supplies and services; focus on census-building and strategic planning.
