Job summary
Zeta is seeking an Elementary School Principal to lead and accelerate excellence across our Bronx, Upper Manhattan, or Queens campuses. This on-site role in New York City reports to the Network School Manager and offers a salary range of $125,000–$180,000 with a discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
You will set an ambitious vision, build a cohesive leadership team, and drive strong academic and cultural outcomes through data-driven strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 2 years as Principal or senior school leader with responsibility for teams.
- Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
- Strong alignment with Zeta’s mission and belief in every student’s potential.
- Proven data-driven approach to improve student outcomes.

- Set and execute an ambitious school-wide vision with clear priorities.
- Build a joyful, safe, and rigorous school culture.
- Foster authentic relationships with staff, students, families.
- Define and uphold standards of instructional excellence across classrooms.
- Own schoolwide outcomes using data-driven planning and progress reviews.
- Lead and develop a high-performing school leadership team.
- Analyze data to translate insights into strategic actions.
- Model problem-solving and unwavering commitment to student achievement.
- Lead design and execution of schoolwide systems and structures.
