Job summary

Zeta is seeking an Elementary School Principal for the Bronx, Upper Manhattan, or Queens. This fully on-site role in New York City reports to the Network School Manager and offers a salary range of $125,000–$180,000 with discretionary merit-based bonuses.

Start date July 2027; relocation support is available for eligible candidates. We seek a bold visionary who can build high-performing teams, drive strong student outcomes, and foster a joyful, rigorous school culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience serving as a Principal or senior school leader with ultimate responsibility for leading and developing high-performing teams
• . Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Deep alignment with Zeta’s mission and belief in every student’s potential.
• Proven track record using data to drive strong school-wide academic outcomes and close instructional gaps.

• Foster authentic relationships with staff, students, and families to support collaboration and student success.
• Define and uphold high standards of instructional excellence across classrooms and grade levels.
• Own schoolwide academic outcomes with data-driven strategies and progress monitoring.
• Lead and develop a high-performing school leadership team to drive outcomes.
• Analyze academic, cultural, and behavioral data and translate insights into action plans.
• Model problem-solvING, ownership, and unwavering commitment to student achievement.
• Lead design and execution of schoolwide systems for long-term success.
