Zeta Charter Schools is seeking an Elementary School Principal to lead a bold vision across our Bronx, Upper Manhattan, or Queens campuses. This on-site NYC role starts July 2027 and reports to the Network School Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 2 years as a Principal or senior school leader responsible for leading and developing teams.
• At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Strong alignment with Zeta's mission and belief in every student's potential.
• Proven track record of using data to drive measurable school-wide outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute an ambitious school-wide vision, uniting leaders, teachers, staff, students and families around excellence.
• Build a joyful, safe, and intellectually rigorous school culture where every student grows.
• Foster authentic relationships with staff, students and families to support collaboration and student success.
• Define and uphold high standards of instructional excellence across classrooms and content areas.
• Own schoolwide academic outcomes with data-driven monitoring and goal setting.
• Lead and cultivate a high-performing school leadership team that coaches teachers and drives outcomes.
• Analyze academic, cultural and behavioral data to inform strategic action plans and ownership.
• Model problem-solving, ownership and a commitment to student achievement.
• Design and implement schoolwide systems and routines to enable strong execution.
