Job summary

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist students and small groups with classroom activities and adaptations.
• Transcribe books, materials, and resources into Braille, large print, or tape within 6 months of hire.
• Support teachers of students with visual impairments and licensed staff with accommodations and testing.
• Maintain records and report observations to the IEP team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
