VMT Vision Machine Technic in Ann Arbor, MI, part of Pepperl+Fuchs, is seeking a Vision Systems Engineer to drive design and integration of advanced machine vision projects in the automotive manufacturing environment.

You will handle pre-sale evaluations, post-sale support, and on-site demonstrations while configuring demo equipment and coordinating with cross-functional teams. A hands-on, travel-ready engineer with 2–4 years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in robotic programming and vision applications in manufacturing.
• Strong programming skills in VB, .NET and C++.
• Understanding and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks.
• Solid math skills; attention to detail; able to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement engineering projects for machine vision systems.
• Lead pre-sale evaluations and create documentation.
• Demonstrate products at customer sites and VMT workshops.
• Configure and set up demo equipment and provide pre-sale support.
