You will handle pre-sale evaluations, product demonstrations, and post-sale installations, with a focus on our Vision Machine Technic division.

The candidate should have 2–4 years of robotics and vision experience, strong VB/.NET/C++ skills, and solid TCP/IP networking knowledge. Travel up to 70% and a hands-on mentality are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience with robotic programming and vision applications in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong programming skills in VB, .NET and C++.
• Understanding and troubleshooting TCP/IP networks.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% (including some international travel).

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements engineering projects.
• Handles pre-sale evaluation and documentation.
• Demonstrates products for customers at VMT and customer sites.
• Configures and sets up demo equipment at VMT workshops and trade shows.
• Provides pre-sale system configuration and quoting support.
• Performs post-sale system installations, training, and technical support.
• Develops strong knowledge of VMT’s machine vision product line.
• Maintains detailed records and prepares communications as needed.
• Interacts professionally on a regular basis with staff and the public.
• Willingness to travel as required.
