Pepperl+Fuchs Gruppe is seeking a Vision Systems Engineer in Ann Arbor, MI, to lead engineering projects related to machine vision and robotic guidance systems for automotive and industrial environments.

Responsibilities include pre-sale Evaluation, configuration of demo setups, customer training, and post-sale installations. Candidates should have a engineering degree, 2–4 years in robotics/vision, strong VB/.NET/C++, and willingness to travel up to 70% including international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related technical discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in robotic programming and vision applications in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong programming skills in VB, .NET and C++.
• Understanding and troubleshooting of TCP/IP networks.
• Strong mathematics skills.

As aVision Systems Engineeryou areresponsible for engineering of advanced application and system integration projects, primarily in the automotive manufacturingenvironment. The Vision Systems Engineer also responds to technical support requests ranging frompre-sales evaluations to post-sales support and installation of machine vision products used in factory production.

The Background You’ll Need:

• Strong software programming skills, including VB, .NET and C++
• Understanding and troubleshooting of TCP/IP networks
• Need strong mathematics skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to work a variety of shifts
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, some international travel to Europe
