Job summary

EssilorLuxottica seeks a skilled technician to support objective testing for R&D, Product Team, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing, ensuring product qualification and process validation. This role is in the Quality Performance Lab and collaborates with Lab Lead and Reliability Engineers on new test method validation and lab calibration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in science or engineering field.
• 3-5 years of working experience and/or training in related fields or an associate degree in science or engineering field
• Ability to diagnose equipment faults and repair at basic troubleshooting.
• Strong verbal and written communication proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Support Lab lead to ensure effective lab operation and KPI punctuality.
• Collaborate with Lab Engineers, R&D, development and IDZ engineers to execute qualification tests.
• Perform complex laboratory tests, experiments, and data analyses for new test method development and validation.
• Conduct failure analysis using specialized instruments and software.
• Prepare, analyze and interpret experimental data using software and statistical tools.
• Write reports, summaries and presentations of test results for Engineering review.
