Job summary

Walmart Vision Center in Phoenix seeks a customer-focused leader to drive sales through strong merchandising, pricing, and inventory management while guiding Associates in delivering exceptional customer service.

The role includes overseeing community outreach, ensuring policy compliance, and developing staff. Eligibility to work as an optician and prior optical exposure are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales in the Vision Center with effective merchandising, pricing, and inventory management.
• Models and guides Associates on customer service approaches to resolve issues per company guidelines.
• Oversees community outreach programs and promotes service to the community.
• Ensures compliance with policies, asset protection, safety, and quality assurance reviews.
• Provides supervision and development for Vision Center Associates through training and mentoring.
• Educates Members/Customers to select products meeting their needs and verifies prescriptions.
