Job summary

LensCrafters in Chattanooga is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience, assist the optometrist during eye exams, and manage patient data with care.

You will greet patients, handle calls, perform pre-exam tasks, enter prescriptions in the CIAO system, maintain inventory, and support retail as needed. A high school diploma and 1+ year of customer service are preferred, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, listening and organizational skills.
• Solid basic math abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and respond to calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain inventory and ensure exam rooms are clean and organized.
• Enter data into the CIAO system with accuracy and care.
• Support retail operations as patient demand allows.
