Job summary

LensCrafters in Utah is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist the optometrist, perform pre-exam testing, and help coordinate patient flow within the store’s eye care services.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, strong customer service, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prep patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling and filing of records.
• Input data in CIAO system and manage inventory as needed.
• Support retail as patient demand allows and ensure safety.
