Job summary

MyEyeDr. is seeking an Optometric Technician in Highlands Ranch, CO to assist Doctors of Optometry by preparing patients for visits, performing preliminary testing, and documenting medical history. Training will be provided for pretest equipment and visual screenings.

You'll help manage patient flow, ensure comfort during procedures, and collaborate with the team to deliver a best-in-class vision care experience. Weekend and some evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; basic math skills.
• Personable and patient, able to comfort patients during screening.
• Detail-oriented and able to work closely with the optometrist.
• Willingness to learn about industry, products, and services.
• Collaborative team player committed to the best patient experience.
• Healthcare/optical background preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients and document medical history for pretest.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients to the doctor and staff.
• Ensure patient comfort with procedures during appointments.
• Learn to operate pretest equipment for visual screenings.
• Provide contact lens training where applicable.
• Collaborate with doctors to ensure a seamless patient experience.
