Job summary

Visionworks in Matthews, NC is seeking an Optical Supervisor/Assistant Manager to lead the store in the absence of the General Manager. You will model Visionworks values, drive store performance, coach associates, and ensure a simple, human and bold patient and customer journey.

This role focuses on achieving sales targets, coordinating appointments, guiding exams and eyewear services, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining operations and profitability.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years supervisory experience
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to coach and develop staff

Responsibilities

• Promote store profitability by achieving daily, weekly, and monthly targets
• Lead in patient/customer journey and supervise staff in exam lane and sales floor
• Coordinate doctor appointments and eyewear services to meet patient needs
• Coach and motivate associates to deliver excellent patient/customer experiences
• Resolve obstacles in patient experience in partnership with General Manager
• Execute store-wide operational activities to reach financial goals
