Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a customer-focused Supervisor/Assistant Manager in Lanham, MD. You will lead store operations in the absence of the General Manager and support financial goals while delivering a simple, human and bold patient and customer journey.

Responsibilities include driving profitability, guiding staff through the patient journey, coordinating appointments, and coaching teams to excellence. This role requires 1–5 years of supervisory experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• 1-5 years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote store profitability and achieve sales targets by holding self and team accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Model and engage in all steps of Patient/Customer journey, supervise and redirect associates in exam lane and sales floor.
• Support GM in managing incoming traffic by coordinating and confirming doctor appointments, scheduled eyewear services, and meeting patient/customer needs.
• Coach, motivate, and support associates to perform in their roles with excellence to ensure a flawless patient/customer experience.
• Use sound judgment to remove obstacles and resolve issues in patient/customer experience in partnership with General Manager.
• Execute all broad operational activities to meet store financial and customer experience goals.
