Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a friendly Clinical Specialist/Optometric Assistant to be the first face patients meet in the exam area. You will assist with preliminary testing, educate patients on eye care, and smoothly transition them from the exam to the sales floor.

In this part-time role, you’ll help maintain records, restock inventory, and answer phones to support a seamless patient journey. Prior customer experience is a plus, HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products/services
• Assist with day-to-day store operations to support exam lane maintenance and patient experience
