Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice. You will guide patients through the initial vision care steps, explain tests and products, and help ensure a smooth, human, and bold experience from check-in to the exam.

You’ll handle patient records, introduce patients to the OD, and support the transition to sales on the floor. The role includes day-to-day store operations and customer service in a dynamic optical environment.

Qualifications

• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducing preliminary testing
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient nformation
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and provide associates necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals including: restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet additional patient needs
