Job summary

Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business, guiding patients through the Visionworks experience with eyewear solutions. This role focuses on meeting eyewear needs in a simple, human way and driving customer satisfaction.

The position emphasizes optical product knowledge, customer service, and leadership in a retail setting. Training and development are ongoing to ensure the best outcomes for each patient and store goals.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship
