Job summary

Visionworks in Cypress, TX seeks a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store, guiding customers through eyewear selection and driving daily sales while delivering an exceptional patient experience. The role requires 12 months of optical experience or ABO Certification and a state-licensed optician where applicable.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support store financial and customer experience goals including opening/closing in LEAD positions
