Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead to be the face of the store, guiding customers through eyewear choices and the Visionworks experience. The role requires knowledge of optics, products, and managed vision care, with prior optical experience (12 months) or ABO certification.

You will drive daily sales goals while delivering exceptional, human service. The position emphasizes in-store leadership, licensing compliance where required, and providing a warm, confident customer

Qualifications

12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
May troubleshoot eyewear needs as necessary.
