Job summary

VisionWorks in Overland Park, KS seeks a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead for part-time hours to drive the patient journey from greeting to eyewear selection. The role emphasizes optics knowledge, product/service understanding, and delivering a human and bold customer experience. Prior optical experience is required.

The Sr. OS may dispense eyewear where licensed, with state guidelines observed. The role involves meeting daily sales goals and supporting store operations as needed.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• ABO Certification in lieu of experience may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day operations to support store financial and customer experience goals including opening/closing the store in LEAD positions.
