Job summary

Visionworks in Missouri is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store and guide patients through the Visionworks experience, ensuring eyewear needs are met in a simple, human and bold way.

A Senior Optical Specialist has 12 months optical experience or ABO certification and must maintain state licensure where required. The role emphasizes sales goals, customer service, and store operations, including opening and closing as needed.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve daily sales goals by delivering the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services meeting eye care needs.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through training.
• Execute day-to-day store operations including opening/closing in LEAD positions.
