Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead in a part-time role. The candidate will be the face of the store, guiding customers through the Visionworks experience with expert eyewear knowledge. Prior optical experience is required, with ABO Certification as an alternative to experience.

The role includes meeting daily sales goals, assisting patients, taking measurements, and supporting operations in LEAD positions. License requirements per state may apply.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary ( Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's goals including opening/closing in LEAD positions only
