Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through an engaging eyewear journey. You will leverage optics knowledge and service excellence to ensure each customer leaves happy with the right selection.

The role requires 12 months optical experience or ABO certification, plus a valid state license as applicable. Responsibilities include meeting daily sales goals, product recommendations, and ensuring smooth store operations in LEAD

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or another org) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through ongoing training.
• Support store operations including opening/closing in LEAD positions as needed.
