Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the friendly face of our store. You’ll guide customers through the eyewear journey, ensure their needs are met with clarity, and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services in optical care.

The role requires 12 months of optical experience (or ABO Certification in lieu) and a valid license where applicable. This is a part-time opportunity with opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required; ABO Certification may substitute experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by guiding the Customer/Patient Experience.
• Engage with patients to recommend products meeting eye care needs.
• Accurately measure and fit eyewear; maintain product knowledge through training.
• Support store operations, including opening/closing in LEAD roles where applicable.
