Job summary

LensCrafters in Fargo is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to deliver exceptional eye-care experiences. You will guide customers through frame and lens choices, measure, and coordinate with the Optician to ensure precise fits. This role emphasizes friendly service, sales goals, and a welcoming store environment in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators.
• Embrace new technology with high accuracy.
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and meet sales goals.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assists patients in frame selection and coordinates frames with optical measurements.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with Optician as needed.
• Actively participates in a positive store environment and fosters professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
• Takes pride in store appearance and keeps displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized.
• Helps foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
