Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Part-Time Sales Associate in Chicago. You will deliver great customer experiences, help customers choose frames and lenses, and maintain store presentation while meeting sales goals.

You’ll work with optical tools, coordinate measurements, and collaborate with the Optician to ensure accurate solutions for patients. Excellent communication and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers & calculators with basic phone and math skills.
• Embrace new technology with high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell through effective sales skills and meet goals.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Uses optical prescription to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with measurements for best vision solution.
• Take measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and maintain professional relationships with peers and staff.
• Maintain appearance of store and keep displays and inventory organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
