Job summary

LensCrafters in Park Ridge, IL, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional eye care and eyewear experiences. You will help customers select frames, recommend lenses, and take measurements with optical tools to ensure the perfect vision solution.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 1+ year in retail or customer service, strong communication, and the ability to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems and basic math.
• Ability to sell with accountability for sales results.
• Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilizes optical prescription to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assists patients in the selection of frames and coordinates frames with optical measurements assisting our customers in choosing the perfect vision solution.
• Conducts measurements using appropriate optical tools and consults with Optician as needed.
• Actively participates and contributes to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff.
• Takes pride in the appearance of store and shows initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized.
