Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a business-related environment.
• Optical experience preferred.
• Proven track record in leading overall team performance and understanding of optometric business processes.
• Ability to recruit, facilitate, train, coach, and develop patient-centric staff.
• Ability to present decisive and creative solutions to issues/opportunities to grow the business.
• Effective communication to meet or exceed customer expectations and foster staff, doctor and team relationships.
• For roles that are remote/hybrid, must demonstrate engagement in virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct day-to-day functions of the practice to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Identify strategy for practice growth and achieve goals.
• Manage staff performance, including supervising, coaching, and training.
• Recruit, hire, and train new staff.
• Review and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Address staff issues and conduct evaluations and trainings.
• Analyze financial data including revenue, expenses, and budgets.
• Control expenses related to products, inventory, and payroll.
