Job summary

A Visionworks Third Key OD Tech/Optometric Assistant Lead is the face of our store and guides patients through eyewear selection with care and expertise. This role involves licensing as required and delivering excellent customer service, sales support, and store operations.

Qualifications include HS diploma or GED and maintaining an Optician License as needed. Part-time schedule with benefits and growth within a customer‑facing team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed).

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training.
• Execute daily store operations, including opening/closing in LEAD roles.
