Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a friendly Optometric Assistant Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through a simple, human, and bold eyewear journey. The role requires knowledge of optics, our services, and managing the patient experience to meet eyewear needs.

This position supports both product sales and service excellence while maintaining state license requirements where applicable, in a part-time capacity with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed).

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
• Execute day-to-day store operations to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including opening and closing the store in LEAD positions only.
