Walmart is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join the Vision Center team. You’ll deliver evidence-based eye care, prescribe medications, and educate patients and staff on eye health in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will collaborate with store leadership and external healthcare professionals, maintain accurate patient records, and help coordinate referrals while upholding Walmart’s standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited school.
• Licensed optometrist in good standing in state of practice.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide evidence-based vision care and prescribe medications per guidelines.
• Educate patients and store staff on eye health and contact lens care.
• Coordinate patient care with other health professionals and referrals.
• Document patient history and treatment plans accurately in the EMR.
