Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary patient evaluations before exams as directed by the Optometrist.
• Conduct patient interviews to capture medical issues and visit reasons.
• Schedule referrals and manage related paperwork.
• Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and policies.
• Assist with diagnostic testing using equipment like OCT, Visual Field, and Retinal Camera.
• Support documentation in Electronic Health Records and assist with clerical tasks.
