Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant in Florida to be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through their first eye-care steps with a human and bold approach.

You’ll help with preliminary tests, optics knowledge, and managed vision care, while ensuring accurate records, smooth transitions from doctor to sales floor, and strong patient experience in a fast-paced store.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in customer or patient-facing roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services.
• Support exam lane operations: restock inventory, clean equipment, answer phones.
