Visionworks of America is seeking a part-time Clinical Specialty (CS)/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our Exam Practice, guiding patients through the early steps of eye care with warmth and professionalism.

This role emphasizes eye health knowledge, accurate patient records, and collaboration with OD and sales teams to educate on products and services that meet eye care needs. It is an in-store, part-time position with daily front-line duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer or patient service preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with relevant patient information.
• Assist in transitioning patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products/services.
• Support exam lane operations: restock inventory, clean equipment, answer phones.
