Job summary

Visionworks in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant for a part-time role. You will be the face of our exam practice, guiding patients through initial testing and eye-care education with a friendly, human touch.

You will handle records, coordinate with OD, and support operations including product education, stock, and phone coverage to enhance the patient journey.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Customer or patient service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records and conduct preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services.
• Support the store's exam lane operations by restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones.
