Epic Health Partners is seeking Certified Substance Abuse Counselors to join our Intensive Outpatient Program as virtual group facilitators. You will deliver online psychoeducational sessions, support relapse-prevention, and provide person-centered interventions to individuals in substance use treatment.

The role involves evening group sessions about three days per week, flexible scheduling, and ensuring accurate documentation and collaboration with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CSAC or CSAC supervisee registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in substance use or mental health services.
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria and relapse‑prevention strategies.
• Ability to facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups in a virtual setting.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must have private, confidential workspace and reliable internet for telehealth.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate virtual psychoeducational, skills-building, and therapeutic group sessions per ASAM criteria.
• Help individuals identify treatment goals and apply recovery-oriented skills.
• Maintain group structure, safety, engagement and boundaries in a virtual environment.
• Monitor participation and report clinical or safety concerns to supervision.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors, case managers and interdisciplinary team for continuity of care.
• Complete accurate documentation including group notes and attendance.
• Provide crisis support as needed within scope of role.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings and ongoing professional development.
