Job summary

EPIC Health Partners seeks a licensed mental health professional to join our Addiction & Recovery Treatment Services as a group facilitator. You will deliver psychoeducational group education, relapse-prevention support, and person-centered interventions to clients in substance use treatment.

Ideal candidates have an LMHP license (LPC/LCSW/LSATP), at least 1 year of relevant experience, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Virginia Board of Counseling licensed LMHP, LPC, LCSW, or LSATP.
• Minimum one year of experience delivering substance use or mental health services.
• Knowledge of ASAM criteria and relapse-prevention strategies.
• Ability to facilitate therapeutic and psychoeducational groups.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational, skills-building, and therapeutic group sessions in accordance with ASAM criteria and program requirements.
• Support individuals in identifying treatment goals and applying recovery-oriented skills.
• Maintain group structure, safety, engagement, and therapeutic boundaries in a person-centered environment.
• Monitor participant participation and report clinical or safety concerns requiring supervisory or clinical review.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation, including group notes SAR's, ISP's, and attendance records, in compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, and EPIC Health Partners standards.
• Provide crisis support and service coordination as needed within scope of role.
• Conduct and review clinical assessments.
• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
