Job summary

Soliant is seeking a qualified Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services to students in a fully remote school setting. This independent contractor (1099) role offers flexibility and autonomy while supporting student communication goals.

Required: an active Illinois SLP license (or licensure in residence if outside Illinois), CCC-SLP, and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. School-based experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations for students

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Monitor student progress and participate in virtual IEP meetings as needed

Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: Remote (U.S.-based required) School located in Illinois

Position Type: Contract (1099)

Schedule: Full Time preferred (30-40 Hours/Week)

Compensation: $48-$56/Hour, paid weekly

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Monitor student progress and participate in virtual IEP meetings as needed

Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Experience Working In School-based Settings Strongly Preferred

• Familiarity with IEP processes and educational compliance requirements
