Job summary

Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA) is seeking an Autistic Support Special Education Teacher to deliver and manage specially designed instructional programs via a virtual platform from a PA Family Service Center. You will collaborate with staff and caretakers to ensure compliant IEP services and learner progress.

The role requires providing direct instruction, data collection, and regular IEP meetings, with travel for state testing and professional development as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold PA Special Education Certification.
• Experience with non-speaking learners using AAC (devices, PECS, basic sign language).
• Experience with ABA assessments (VB-MAPP, EFL, AFLS).

Responsibilities

• Serve as school-based special education case manager for designated caseload.
• Provide direct services and instruction to learners per IEP.
• Gather data, develop instruction, write goals, and monitor IEP implementation.
