Job summary

Commonwealth Charter Academy seeks a Secondary Special Education Teacher- Math to deliver specially designed instruction via a virtual platform while based at a CCA Family Service Center in Harrisburg, PA. You will manage IEPs, collaborate with teachers, and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.

You will provide direct math instruction, collect data, coordinate IEP meetings, and engage families to promote student growth and engagement in school routines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Special Education Credential, Grades K-12 in Pennsylvania.
• Valid Math Certification in Pennsylvania.
• Experience with Zoom, iReady and other online platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction for students in modified math curriculum.
• Serve as school-based special education case manager for designated caseload.
• Gather data and write IEP goals; monitor progress and communicate growth.
• Schedule and conduct IEP meetings in a virtual environment.
• Maintain IEP paperwork and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate weekly with related service providers and teachers.
