We seek teachers passionate about creating a rigorous and nurturing environment that emphasizes student learning and social-emotional development. While this is an online position, travel for in-person testing and student events is required several times a year.

Eligibility: Open to Michigan residents.

Responsibilities include:

1. Implement and write IEPs for students.
2. Participate in MTSS and maintain student records.
3. Administer assessments and coordinate with staff and parents.
4. Teach all subjects as assigned, following the curriculum.
5. Attend meetings and professional development.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience, with 2+ in special education.
• Current Michigan certification/licensure.
• Strong content knowledge and familiarity with state testing.
• Experience with diverse student populations and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in computer applications and data analysis.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work occasional evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Clear background checks.
• Knowledge of co-teaching models.
