Raymond James invites high-potential sophomores to join the Investment Banking Sophomore Bootcamp, a virtual program offering early exposure to Investment Banking.Analysts-to-be gain insight into capital markets, advisory assignments, and the recruiting process for the 2028 Summer Analyst class.

Successful participants may receive coaching and consideration as recruiting begins. You will learn how bankers advise on capital raises, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial matters.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a U.S. university with an anticipated graduation date between December 2028 and June 2029.
• Pursuing a degree in accounting, computer science, data science, economics, engineering, finance, information systems, marketing, management, mathematics, statistics or another business-related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in investment banking, finance, capital markets and/or working with corporate clients.
• Strong academic achievement, leadership, extracurricular involvement and/or relevant professional experience.
• Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future, including beyond OPT/EAD.

Responsibilities

• Learn about the day-to-day responsibilities of an Investment Banking Analyst.
• Gain exposure to Raymond James' industry and product groups.
• Hear directly from bankers about their career paths and experiences at Raymond James.
• Develop a better understanding of investment banking transactions and the role analysts play throughout the deal process.
• Receive guidance from Investment Banking Recruiting on the recruiting process, application expectations and timeline.
• Build relationships with Raymond James professionals and other students interested in investment banking.
• Prepare for the next stage of recruiting for the 2028 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program.
