Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks a Sr. SBA Eligibility Coordinator to manage SBA/guaranteed loan processing, including 7(a), Express, 504, USDA and SSBCI programs. You will package loans for SBA approval, coordinate closings and funding, and maintain audit-ready files for internal and external audits.

You will work with SBA Specialists, ensure compliance with SBA requirements, and support risk management while delivering a high-quality customer experience across the bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of packaging and closing experience in the SBA industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the SBA regulations.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supports SBA lending team in processing SBA loans for agency approval and closing for larger, more complex loans.
• Assist in forming policies for approving and closing SBA loans to minimize risk.
• Collaborate with internal partners to improve loan processes and efficiencies.
• Provide periodic training to internal partners on SBA and alternative lending products.
