Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Virtual Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care via two-way audio/visual technology, perform vital sign assessments, and monitor patient data.

The Level II RN leads governance activities, serves as a clinical resource, mentors staff, and coordinates education with management, while documenting care in the EMR.

Required: RN license (Virginia or compact), BSN preferred; 3 years acute care experience; BLS; strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• RN license from Virginia or compact state.
• BSN preferred; must obtain BSN within five years of hire.
• Three (3) years acute care nursing experience.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform virtual nursing assessments via video rounds.
• Develop and monitor care plans in collaboration with care teams.
• Lead governance activities and serve as charge nurse when needed.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff; participate in unit projects.
