Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice for women and children expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver expert, compassionate virtual care for midlife and menopausal transitions. You will set your own schedule while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

As a 1099 contractor, you’ll provide evidence-based nutrition care, commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours weekly, and use telehealth and EMR tools.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD/N by CDR with a US-state license.
• Candidates licensed in multiple states are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of evidence-based nutrition counseling experience.
• Ability to commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence with collaborative multidisciplinary approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutrition care for midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure cohesive care plans.
• Partner with patients over multi-week programs to support lifestyle changes and well-being.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for Pomelo visits.
