Job summary

ArchWell Health in Nashville is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our Pharmacy Team under the Clinical Pharmacist. You will conduct patient outreaches, assist with navigating plan benefits, and help patients obtain medications through different sources to resolve access barriers.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of operational pharmacy benefits experience, knowledge of Medicare Advantage benefits, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Registered Pharmacy Technician with state board.
2+ years in operational pharmacy benefits or clinic setting.
eClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
Geriatric patient experience a plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

Review and process patient assistance program referrals.
Complete the patient assistance program applications with members.
Process pharmacy refill requests via faxes, EMR, or calls.
Conduct telephonic outreaches about medication use and adherence.
Collaborate with pharmacy staff and care teams to resolve issues.
Ensure timely tasks, HIPAA compliance, and documentation.
Attend staff meetings and support quality improvement.
