Job summary

ArchWell Health seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join its pharmacy team in a virtual environment, reporting to the Clinical Pharmacist. You will support patient care by reviewing benefits, assisting with medication access, and guiding members through plan options.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with state board.
  • Minimum 2 years of operational pharmacy benefits or related experience.
  • eClinicalWorks or similar EMR experience.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process patient assistance program referrals per protocol.
  • Complete patient assistance program applications with members and coordinate with center staff as needed.
  • Process pharmacy refill requests via faxes, EMR routes, or calls within turnaround times.
  • Conduct telephonic outreaches and answer questions about medication use and adherence.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff, providers, and care teams to resolve medication-related issues.
  • Ensure tasks are completed timely, documented, and HIPAA-compliant.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with other pharmacy initiatives as they arise.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
