Job summary

ArchWell Health in Tennessee seeks a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team. Reporting to the Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide direct patient care in a virtual environment and help patients navigate plan benefits and obtain medications, with emphasis on Medicare Advantage.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, active Pharmacy Technician registration, 2 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with EMR systems; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with state board license.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy-related experience.
• Experience with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks or similar).
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Review and process patient assistance program referrals.
• Complete patient assistance program applications with members and coordinating with staff.
• Process pharmacy refill requests via fax, EMR, or calls with timely turnaround.
• Conduct telephonic outreaches about medication use and adherence.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and providers to resolve medication-use issues.
• Ensure tasks are documented and compliant with HIPAA and standards.
• Attend staff meetings and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist with other pharmacy department initiatives as needed.
