Compensation

Range is $22 - $25 per hour, depending on geographic region, education, and experience.

Job Description

The Group Facilitator provides therapeutic treatment, emphasizing evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment methods. This involves facilitating scheduled groups and documenting sessions in our EMR. The role requires maintaining all applicable licenses and certifications, and meeting all regulatory requirements throughout employment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Clinical and Program Directors to develop comprehensive therapy, evaluation, and treatment programs.
  • Deliver appropriate topics during scheduled groups.
  • Complete all group notes immediately after each session.
  • Document all services in clients' medical records.
  • Adhere to company policies, DMHAS, and Joint Commission standards and regulations, maintaining accurate and timely client charting.
  • Participate in staff meetings and provide training on therapeutic services and mental health topics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including individual client support.
Virtual Details

This role is for our Discovery Mood & Anxiety IOP, which is 100% remote. We operate 4 IOP tracks for adults and adolescents across California via secure Zoom. Facilitators lead 3-4 psychoeducational groups daily, adapting to client needs to foster engagement and learning.

Post-90 days, facilitators are eligible for training in CBT, DBT, or ACT, with a pay increase upon completion. Interested candidates should contact our recruiter, Brittany, for a phone screening.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in behavioral healthcare.

Must have stable WIFI and a confidential home workspace.
